Cllr Pamela Brook held her Civic Sunday Service at St John the Baptist Church in Kirkheaton on 13 September 2015.  It was a beautiful sunny day as the Parade processed through Kirkheaton led by the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Pipe Band.

The Service was conducted by the Rev Richard Steel and the music was provided by the Kirkheaton Singers.

There were many civic dignitaries present representing Parish and Town Councils from neighbouring areas.  The other guests included Cllr Brook's own family and friends, her Council colleagues and past Chairmen of Kirkburton Parish Council.

After the service refreshments were provided in the Church.  Cllr Brook expressed her thanks to everyone for coming and to all who had contributed to the success of the event.
