Kirklees Planning Services issues planning lists, which detail all applications lodged across the district on a weekly basis. These can be accessed on www.kirklees.gov.uk/planning where the full application can be viewed and comments can be submitted to Planning Services.
The Parish Council considers most applications within the Parish at its meetings and submits comments where appropriate. If you would like the Parish Council to support your comments on any of the applications, please let us know and we will help if we can. If the deadline date for comment is before the next meeting, comments are not normally submitted, but it is possible to do so under the Clerk's delegated authority. If you have concerns with such an application, please contact the Clerk, who will be able to advise on the best way to proceed. You can also contact your local Parish Councillor, who will also be able to help.
Kirklees Planning Authority takes all the decisions on planning applications either by officers or at a committee, as appropriate. These can also be viewed on www.kirklees.gov.uk/planning
