The Council's financial year runs from 1st April to 31st March each year. The budget proposals for the forthcoming year are normally considered by the Management & Finance Committee in November. The Council discusses and agrees the budget in December, which includes setting the precept (portion of Council tax which funds the Parish Council). Members of the public are welcome to put forward suggestions about spending plans and projects during the summer / autumn months. All suggestions will be considered.
